Welcome to The Little Heroes Mission Project! We are thrilled to introduce to you Ms. Tharkur, our dedicated and inspiring educator, who will be leading our educational outreach program. Ms. Tharkur brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for nurturing young minds. With years of experience in education and a heart full of compassion, she is committed to empowering our little heroes with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive.
Biography
Ms. Tharkur is a New York State certified teacher in English Language Arts. She uses literacy to help her students build critical thinking skills, creativity, advocacy and voice. With over ten years of teaching experience, Simone has worked effectively with adolescents, school-based support teams and parents to meet individual student needs. Her teaching pedagogy is rooted in restorative justice practices, which she has allowed her to build meaningful relationships with students and give them a stake in the learning process.
Ms. Tharkur’s patience and dedication provides the safe and supportive environment needed for all students to succeed. In addition, her work with multilingual and multicultural learners has motivated her to pursue additional certifications, in order to effectively serve all of her students.
Ms. Tharkur’s approach is centered around interactive and engaging learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of each child. She believes in the power of education to transform lives and is excited to embark on this journey with our little heroes, guiding them towards a brighter future. Through her innovate teaching methods, she aims to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and instill a lifelong love of learning in every child.
